Hearts United with Haiti
Hearts United with Haiti is an organization that was initially formed to assist a church in Chaveneau, Haiti (near Les Cayes) realize their dream of having a school, medical center, orphanage and financial institution in their community but with God's direction has evolved to include ministry in other areas as well. We pray you will be blessed when you read about the opportunities YOU have to come alongside this ministry and help this remote farming community and other rural communities where we have established partnerships. We have opportunities to minister in the city of Port au Prince, in the suburbs of that city (mostly Carrefour), and in the countryside north and west of the city. There is an orphanage in Port au Prince we are partnering with which remains a main focus but we also have ministry partners in many other areas. Overall, we work to facilitate independence and work alongside our ministry partners toward sustainable projects. Though short term mission groups are God's way of using our organization in Haiti, our ministry objectives are far from short term. It is the prayer of all involved in Hearts United that you will be blessed by the work being done in Haiti and that you will support our various projects with your prayers and possibly with your donations and/or service. We have an exciting opportunity to reach out and minister through education, medical care, construction, and spiritual enrichment. The needs are many since some of these projects are still in their infancy. No matter what gifts/abilities you have there is a place for you in our ministry.
